Impressive break fozzer I'd more than settle for 113!!!

In 3 frames tonight I had a 43 and a 54 (with a missed black for a 61 clearance - d'oh!). Then played some decent pool - signs of things improving.

It's a common enough fault...not probably helped by the fact that you under alot of pressure too..

Played earlier today and could only manage a break of 33. There were 4 reds left which where nicely situated around the black. Missed a straight black but the cueball was very close to the side cushion..

ahh, got back a little while ago, didnt go according to plan lol.. my mate was in inspired form.. everytime he got to the table he was looking like making frame winning breaks.. he hit 3, 70 odd breaks and a 60..

inbetween desperately trying to keep him off the table i managed a 64 and 68... then got a 95 clearance in the final frame! wahoo

still lost the match 7-5. just wasn't my night

That's a good standard from you both. Do you normally knock in 60 plus breaks on a regular basis when you play a match?

erm, when i play him we really get going and we both play very well normally, and yeah im dissapointed if i dont hit atleast one 70 break.

although, when im playing other people its sometimes quite a struggle to get going, especially if i consider them to be inferior to me as a player, (a terrible attitude to have i know) but because its easier to win, i dont try so hard and inevitably my standard slips.

Your not alone there...it's a trap i have fallen into many times myself.

Had a 48 tonight, over-ran position to the final blue. Than bottled it! Friend of mine who normally gets 20's at most had a 47 as well, realy shocked.

Not played much at all this week, just a frame in our league match on Thursday which went scrappy. I played 4 frames with my son yesterday, trying out a new Parriss cue and knocked in a 37 break.
