Had a 71 last night in sheffield snooker league match, just landed below reds after stunning of black and ended up overcutting red, there was still 5 reds left so potentially a 138 was on never mind still makes it the highest break in the B divison for now.

Only a 25 this week against bouncer... my excuse - very tight pockets .
Talk about tight pockets . I remember once we were playing away in the local league and our first player went on . Well after about ten shots each our player turned to our captain and said these pockets seem awful tight , and the captain replied how the f--- do you know you have,nt been nowhere near them yet. I was rolling around doubled up . Sorry i,m off subject but when I read tight pockets it brought back that memory .

it was even more than a chance for glory in show business... it was a "realization".
Having been unable to play snooker for a couple of weeks to come out last night and play my ever so competitive mate, Mark, and
win 4-1 with only a few 40+ breaks was a very pleasant eye-opener.
I re-realized that fighting pot and snooker to win, no matter what, is really exhilarating fun.
I also re-aquainted myself to the truth in the old addage "Absence makes the heart grow fonder"
I discovered that making, even only 40-breaks, correctly, can make me re-love snooker!
At least as meaningful as a ton I'd say!
=o)

I've 'ummed and ahhed' about posting this as it might come across as a little egocentic but I had 141 and 140 in consecutive frames. It's the best I've played in about five years so I thought what the hell...crow away!I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.
