I agree with that completely. I am 5 colours away from that elusive maximum in practise against an opponent. Although ive made more than a dozen 147's in lineup drills. Ive even made one in a practise solo frame where i broke off normally and played a few safety shots and then cleared the table. I don't even count that as a valid break as you said, it was'nt against an opponent! Oh well it will happen soon...

Been in shocking form for months, but now I'm starting to play a bit better. Made breaks of 46, 45, 40, 38, 36 and 33 in the last week.

Played the best I've ever played yesterday. Got no 40+ breaks though, but still the best I've played.

Played 9 frames against my dad and in all but the 1st frame, I got 2 30+ breaks. They pretty much finished him off.

It's the most consistent I've ever played. I didn't feel like I would miss. When I was in and around the black I felt confident playing little cannons to stay in position. Other times I will get down to play them with the mind set that they would go wrong... not good!

Had a match yesterdy and breaks of 64,62,57,51,31,27,26

the pockets were like buckets in fairness that's my best string of breaks ever.. I was unlucky not to get my highest match break twice.. At least the two high breaks were frame winning ones after taking a couple of baulk colour in there!

Don't play regular snooker, more of a pool guy but have been playing a few times over the past week or so.

Before, my top break was only 18 (blue, pink, black lol) but Wednesday I got a 24 and yesterday a 36. Quite low, but as a relative beginner on a full size table, was pretty chuffed! And it was with a crap rack cue...can't wait to get my craftsman through in the next week or two :-)

Well done Luke , That's 20 points more than me ! Just trying out contact lenses and could not hit a barn door with a tractor !

Changed to a different lense and will try again on Wednesday ....so watch out , i might get 8 .
