Yes.[but never [ yet ] with your success rate! ]
One reason is that invariably I run out of position requiring a recovery pink or blue or
just for fun sometimes a baulk colour.
One important point is whether or not you replace missed pots and redo until you "get it", then... start over.
Or, do you just litter the table with your scraps for "later"?
With the straight line-up I always aim to pot the reds from topmost down in sequence.
With the "Selby" line-up I usually choose to pot all the reds left or right of the pink then the other,
then the reds between black and pink.
For me, the more exacting the cueball shape required the better.
Afterall, that's 5o% of every shot.
I tried this today - there's not much room (are you using the correct sized balls ) i started with the one nearest the cushion, and managed to get 5 reds and 5 blacks (playing for the reds in order) which to be honest is as good as i get - i usually only put 2 reds below black, with the other 2 above the blue.
I think its down to the talisman tip ive got on my latest O'min cue, because i tried with my JP classic which has a Mike supertip on and couldn't get the same rhythm going (both cues are similar weights and taper)
But it was blooming hot in there today
