Weeks best break

just beat my best break (previously 119),by knocking in a 133,then followed it up a few frames later with 100 break,thats the first time ive had 2 centuries in the same session.

Very, very well played lennon11. Wish I could just make two 40's in the same session, but doubt very much if will ever get any of that back again. Those were the days. These days, think would be fairly happy to get two in a week .......... lol.

Since changing to the del drive cue action my form has suffered, but I'm finaly getting to grips with it and hit a 52, 53 and a 70 on friday. My goal was to beat my practice partners highest break of 126 this has just got harder as he phoned me today to tell me he hit a 131

Big achievement yesterday. Cleared the line-up for the first time. Wasn't counting unfortunately, think it was 120-odd.

Won my league singles 2-0 and had 57 break in one frame. First competitive game for 5 years, I was shaking like a leaf!

just had bang on 100,thats my 3rd century of the last week or so,now up to 21 centuries(which i know is no where near some on here),& my 4th since switching to a 1 piece maple about a month ago(hoping maple must agree with me...or maybe the 1 piece??.

I know TMOF/themayorofflair will be expecting me to put this on here but hit a 62 today! highest break for about 6 or 7 months...only my third break above 60 too...i actually thought i was going to hit a century until i over played for the black, cut it back into a blind pocket, missed cannoning the two reds by the pink by a FRACTION and ended up touching ball on the yellolw

but yeah, so much happier with myself now!

1 red left on the table, i managed to pot a blue after the red and cleared all the colors and i made a 33 break
it was my first time to cleared all the colors, so i think it is worth for me to post it here to share my happiness

managed a nice few breaks today...

highest being 47, which on the egham table is as good as knocking in an 80 or so on a normal table so am very happy with that..

the table at egham (one of the reasons i keep asking for it to be sorted) is about as tight as a star table, however the cut of the pockets are wrong..like literally, if you roll a ball by hand down the cushion, at almost any speed, it will not go in... so yeah, like i said...

knocked in a 47 (the second time ive ever had 47, and thats my highest break on the table), then had a 37, then had a 27 lol... then had a 39 and a 33 clearance

the breaks arent massive, but on that table anything over 20 is a respectable break! so am very happy about it!

I though the pockets on our table was tight but at least the cut of the pockets is just about right. Surely not being able to pot along the cushions is ridicuous. I'd refuse to play on it to be honest.

Yeh I don't mind th pockets being tight to be fair, it's just annoying when you have to play a red that's close to the cushion there's no way it will go so you always have to cannon it out or leave yourself a double lol

The only thing i will say , is that it's not good 2 blokes trying to play snooker with hangovers . Especially at my age

Still feel rough this morning ...... 2 bottles of Red wine and half a bottle of port ....what did i expect . As long as my gout does not come back , i should be ok !
