  • the pink spot

    hi everybody, first post!
last thursday in my league match i was setting the balls up for the final frame when my team mate, who is a solid century break player, told me i hadn't put the reds close enough to the pink. I had always been told that as long as the pink doesn't pot to either corner pocket it is ok, where as my team mate said they have to be touching or almost touching! Can anyone help me out on this one as everybody i have asked so far has not been sure!!
    thanks

The pink should be as close as possible to the reds without touching.
