Chalks.. left school in 84 and had my first job there.. loved it.. you couldn't get me off table 8.. lol.

I used to play in the South Bradford League many years ago for Bradford Moor Libs. When it shut down Cooper and Snowy went to play for Chapel Green as did most of the lads that played with us. I went to work on nights for 10 years so gave the game up.. LoL.

I now play out of Undercliffe Cricket Club so if you ever fancy having a knock give me a shout. Love to have a game sometime!

In between my match with him and Mark Allen I heard that he ask Nic to help him.
Ron saw Nic at the Academy and ask him to help. Thats after Steve Priest was with Ron when we played!
Ronnie needed a quick fix by the sounds of it so why not try something new.
He didn't miss much against me in the balls but he was struggling big time on the long shots so it helps sometimes to get a new outlook on things.
IMO he is his own worst enermy on things like that, just a bit low on confidence on long pots.

As for when he was with Reardon, he had the safety game then as it is today but didn't want to use it back then. I think Ray just gave him a different outlook on the game. Ron found it a challenge to win with his safety instead of just potting!

Well, thats my little rant over and done with!
Now that is why I love coming to this forum you get the correct info to any question, Thanks for the inside scope and I do agree with everyone else’s here he doesn’t need a coach he need a head doctor!!!

          Ronnie new coach

HI Snooker Fans Ronnie Osullivan is very fragile however when his head is there he is the best. I would say that Ray Reardon was the best in helping Ronnie with his game and his head. To bad for Ronnie however he will bounce back Leonard from Canada

            check out rons stance

he is leaning in, not getting through the ball, so this is exaggerated on long shots

Ive been looking at a few videos from WC2009 and cant see any obvious flaws in ROS's technique?

Sorry, but that is the most absurd opinion I've read when it comes to Ronnie's cue action The guy has got one of the most beautiful cue action & touch the game has ever seen and that is not just my layman opinion but that of professional coaches and critics!!!

absurd, you obviously know ur snooker

look and see, ROS had this prob in early 1992 as well!

When his cue tip is making contact with the cue ball his forarm is well inside the vertical position, this problem is highlighted on long shots.

Furthermore, ROS is obviously aware there is a problem or he would not be seeing two (technical) coaches in the same period.

He has been struggling with his long potting and with consistency all season and he's certainly aware of the problem. He has assessed it often enough in post-matches being after losing or after winning. Moereover this has effected his confidence all season aswell.
If he's looking for advice, it means he cares and wants to correct it. I can't see what's wrong with that.
