There used to be three, one was the original BBC snooker music, one was Pot Black, and there was one other which I think may have been the Shot of the Championship music. But I noticed we didn't get that this year, I assume so not to clash with the music played through the wireless commentary thing.

I'll have to ask my mate Dave in Australia – he's the familiar biggish guy in the front row, with an Australian-flag tie (though sadly not there this year).

He sent me a CD with lots of snooker songs on, and I'm sure those were included on it. But I've lost the slip of paper he enclosed, giving the name.

I think the old Frame of the Day music they used to play whilst patrons were taking to their seats, was, "To the Unknown Man". It was also used for some of the early Shot of the Championships. The main BBC snooker music, was that called "Drag Racer"?

Regards "Black and White Rag" (Pot Black). Do you know of anywhere in Sheffield where there is a piano? I'll play it to you next year!
