  • How much does your club charge

I would be interested to know what rates your clubs charge per hour for Snooker and Pool. Be it the commercial club, workingmens club, or community club. Are there also different tariffs for the different times of day and night. Are OAPs and ex-servicemen catered for with reductions.
Clubs in my neck of the woods vary from €3 per hour to a whopping € 13 per hour. One or two clubs that open for business at 10am charge € 3 per hour until 12.30pm, from 12.30 to 6pm it varies from €5 to €8, and from 6pm till closing its between € 8 to € 13. OAPs are given a 30% reduction until 6pm.
Community halls usually charge €1 on the meters for times ranging between 10 to 12 minutes ( €5 to € 6 per hour). Coin op Pool tables on the other hand vary from €1 to € 2 per game depending on the club involved.
In these recessionary days should prices be reduced ?

£5 per hour, & that's asking too much considering most of the tables are of a POOR standard!

why for "21" minutes ? any special reason , I guess half-hour rate would be easier to manage ?

For one of the clubs I visit it's £4.10 an hour which is ludicrous considering the quality of their tables, they are so slow that I would estimate that playing in a mixture of glue and mud would be faster and the cloth is almost non existent on some of their tables. The other club (my home club) charges £5.00 per hour for the match tables in their own individual rooms (nice tables) and for the rest of the tables in the club it's around £3.50 per hour I think, good prices for their nice tables. Another club near me charges £5.00 an hour, the tables are all of high standard and it's a nice club but a little too expensive though I can see why they are at that price.

in the club nearby which belongs to Ding Junhui's father, about 3 € per hour, separate room about 5 € per hour, one of the separate rooms has a heated table where Ding Junhui plays when he is in Nanjing
