  • Your personal goals for the new season???

I am looking to try practising a bit more against better players, increase my levels of consistancy and then maybe play in more tournaments, but most importantly try to enjoy the game more.

I am back in Division 1 of my local snooker league for the new season. It means I am going to have to raise the level of my game from last season, where to be honest the standard was well below my own.

What are you aimimg to improve or work towards???

Just generally try and be more consistent & cut out the unforced errors that i seem to be making which are creeping more and more into my game of late.

A new highest break over 30.

I want to compete more! In one way or another I just managed to participate in one (!) tournament last season and that's really bad. My primary goal is to win one tournament and I know that I'm capable of it. I'm actually the first winner of a U16 tournament in Swenden. I won it in 2007 But my dvelopment after the victory has stopped. I think I've got some pressure after the victory

To play one full season with a single cue!

To make a century in league play.

                To retain town singles again.

Realistically, just to enjoy playing the game. Although a 60 break would be damn nice!

To improve on my ranking in Ontario from #15 to within the top 5, get my consistency up to where I'm not missing those stupid easy shots and to start running centuries in match play as I used to

To continue improving my game after a major slump last year and start enjoying the game again. Getting my breaks back over 50 again would be a start.

To add a competitive century to my HB of 101 in practice and improve on my 11/17 league ratio last season. If I can keep up my 25-35 hours practice a week I feel as if this can be achieved. Good luck to everyone in achieving their goals and remember my favourite saying.....

a break of 30 or higher ... although since my HB is currently 25, I'd be dancing on the ceiling if I got 26 ...

last two times I've played, each time I've done a couple of breaks in the high teens or low twenties so I'm not totally without hope ...

although it's just as much about how many balls you can pot ... my current best is 7 so I'd be delighted with 8 even if it added up to less than my current HB of 25 ...

the big problem for me is I start feeling intense pressure after potting 5 balls ... if I somehow manage to hit the sixth, it gets worse ...

                              any advice?
