  • Whom do you practice with?

I have played with Manan Chandra on several occasions,It gives me great motivation and it helps me improve my game.By the way Manan Chandra has won several national and international titles and once was runner-up in IBSF World championships. He once beat Marco Fu in the Asian games semi-final.

Just wanted you to share your experiences about which professional players have you played with? How much does it help your game?

Ive practiced with all 3 of my friends who are professionals at some time or another Murphy, King and Ebdon. I currently practice with a guy new to the PIOS tour and to improve in your game you need to be picking balls out for these kind of boys for a while and take in as much as you can.
Always play snooker with a smile on your face...You never know when you'll pot your last ball.

Maybe you should rephrase that Noel.

I have had the odd practise session from time to time with Gerard Greene.

Mostly and often preferably I like to play (snooker) by myself. If not, there a few guys at the club that I like to play - 6 pocket Thommo, Jimmy etc.

I occasionally have a hit with the coach who has a former Australian champion in his stable and who has also coached Ebdon and is friends with White and Higgins.

Wonder who would win between those two over one frame?

usually practice against my borther or dad (my dad used to be just below pro level in his younger days but still has the capability - he was in the same amuater leagues as john virgo and played him regular)

playing people myself, the only claim to frame was a best of three against the legend alex higgins when he was living near to me for a year or two, he was often hawking round for games for meny at the time in the snooker clubs but was a regular in the pub i worked at and got to know him there...

Andy, how long ago was it that you played Alex and what was the score?

yeah i remember John Wright, i remember when he played Alex in the 1988 WC. Was quite a good player but i think the booze played a big part in his downfall..
