i used to play with giro johnny wright at the new world club in the broadway market in hackney . you had terry witthread and dave gilbert there also blimey that was about 27-28 years ago maybe even longer.

Yeah i remember Dave Gilbert, but more so because he appeared in a programme called "in at the deep end" with Chris Serle and Jack Karenhm.

He looked a very useful player from that programme but apart from that never really got to see much of him on tv..
