Unfortunately its a very hard concept for some people to grasp in particular newer players and very good potters.
The latter are very good potters for a reason, they get lots of practice at difficult ones!.
I used to really enjoy watching Steve Davis & Hendy at their peak, in particular Davis, economical, fluent, and rarely played a difficult pot...
3 words describe a great snooker player (except the unnaturally gifted super gods of the game ... i.e. Ronnie)
Position is Key!
Ronnie unfortunately doesn't need great position when he's flowing but I would never ever advocate anyone play the way he does or even attempt to, he's just unique!.
