I'm not afraid to report posts. Talking like that on a snooker forum is not acceptable.

Now this is the reason that people who dont play snooker think the sport is boring.

but then, if you counted fishers "nice" and "not so nice" posts, I think he was on a 1:10 or 1:50 ratio...

But, no wonder you can be ****ed if you have to drink John Smith's all day...

Yeah knowing Pete Fisher well you do have to take his posts with a pinch of salt, and as an Administrator of some forums he visits he is high maintenance but you just have to like the guy, fantastic player (even with one good eye) and a typical jack the lad albeit in recent years less so as he has become much more family orientated.

He never means offence and none should be taken, virtually all his posts are tounge in cheek (well the ones that are likely to cause offence anyway as he's not an offensive guy)

I can see why he got banned though, like I said you have to know him to understand his posts.

Anyway I didn't come here to post about Pete:

I agree all PIOS matches should be referee'd (Being an EASB referee myself) but as said by others the amount of funds is limited.

The only real way to address this is of cause for more money to be available to the EASB either by:

Increased entry fee's (not really a good idea)

Event Sponsorship (if you are interested in sponsoring an event please contact secretary@englishsnooker.com)

Bringing grass roots more into the EASB by using the affiliation scheme, clubs & leagues

The latter will not only bring in the affiliation fee £25 per entity per year but will as a bye product significantly increase the number of entrants to all EASB competitions and as such provide enough revenue to bring in enough referee's to referee individual matches.

It will also increase the profile of each event and as such have a knock on effect in that sponsors will be more likely to sponsor events that have a nationwide profile and significant numbers of entries...

Bottom line... we need to help the EASB to help us.

and of course you have clicked the report button on these threads to let either me or one of the moderators know have you ? ........... oh yeah, no you have not.

If you see anything that should be bought to our attention you will need to click the report button, I do not read all of the threads on TSF as I have said before and how am I supposed to know if something is going on if nobody clicks that little button or nobody sends me a PM about things.

There is also a little contact us button at the bottom of every page which you can use also just as bkpaul has.

@bkpaul - I have read your email and will be in contact with you shortly.
