  • Snooker cue in London

    Hi,

I am new to the forum so hi!

I play around the Clapham area of London and have been sharing a cure with a friend for years now.

I am keen to buy a cue but don't know where to start.

I want to find a club that offers a large array of cues and play for a few hours, trying a few of them. Probably want to pay around £100.

However the only clubs I can find all seem either dodgy or don't sell cues.

Can anyone recommend a decent club in the London area where I can pick up a cue for a reasonable price and try cues out on the day?

    Thanks in advance

    Matt :snooker:

im also looking for a decent club in london, around uxbridge area.

its a shame there isnt a list on the internet, i have tried using google but only chain companies like rileys come up.

i just mean a club that isn't a dodgy rileys or something like that. i.e. not full of american pool tables and bad music

just a decent club that sells cues that I can try :-)

From your mentioning of loud music and pool tables did you mean Rileys perhaps? when i first started playing it was in Rileys but the tables are shocking and environment is not fit for snooker.

i play in Camberwell (jonos) now. It's not awe inspiring inside or out but they do take pride in the most important thing - the tables!

They have a few cues in the cabinet but nothing amazing from what i can remember.
