  • Playing with a glove

    Hi

For about two months ago I bought a snooker/pool glove. I thought it was just a funny thing to do but after playing with the glove a realised that it was much better to play with it I feel that the cue goes through my bridge in a better way than playing on my bare skin. What is your opinions about playing with a glove? Do you feel that it is better/worse to play with a glove?

The Glove of love! The last guy i saw with a glove got laughed out the club. The guy does not use one anymore but is always remembered for having the glove.

It has a little more relevance if you´re playing carom, where you are using a closed bridge, but I still prefer playing without. I think you still get a better contact with the cue. I remember a german caromplayer who always played with it.

I have also noticed that it is quite gay but what should I do when it feels better to play with it? My game won't be as good as when I'm playing without a glove. I was the runner-up of a tournament when I used it the first time in competition

If you honestly think it helps then stick with it..

the only way i think you could possibly get away with one is if it is flesh coloured

Ronnie O'Sullivan used one once in the Premier League....

But then he is the greatest player to touch a cue.

lol. you noticed and you still want to wear it?

maybe you need to sit your mum and dad down and have a serious chat...

i'm joking of course. but just wash your hands and wipe your cue down. that should be plenty smooth enough.

you dont wanna end up mentally relying on something you dont need in the first place.

                          or look unnecessarily gay

gay disclaimer - i have nothing against gaydom. you enjoy yourself boys

no it was given to me, and yes it is hidden in a drawer somewhere... though mind you i suppose there might be "other" uses for such a glove
