Removal of red button coverage on BBC

Hi, sorry if this has been previously mentioned but according to Digital Spy the BBC are closing one of the red button services starting from the end of October and so this will affect snooker more than most. I hope this doesn't happen and have sent them an e-mail. I for one will be furious If they do as how much snooker do we get to watch in a Year. Has anybody else heard about this. Claire.

A thread has already been incepted on the same subject but for the record I too am furious. The next BBC event is the UK which means we cant access the snooker other than the normal BBC1 and BBC2 timetable am I right?
