    I believe the pink did not enter a pocket. Therefore, it is a five-point penalty.

    Once the cue-ball has hit he blue, it is irrelevant what it hits next – unless the subsequent ball is pocketed.

    Rule12, b (iv) causing the cue-ball to first hit a ball not on.

      He said in his opening post the pink went in so its 6!!!!!!!!!!!

          There's no confusion, apart from the fact that snookerdad thought that the pink had not gone in the pocket – in which case it would have been a foul 5.

          But because the pink did go in, it's a 6.
