  • Bill Werbenuik - split trousers?

We all have heard about the day when "Big Bill" split his trousers during a match at the pro tour.

But, did it end up on tape? Was the match televised? I can imagine how it looked like but is it possible to really see how it looked like? With no success on searching for the clip on the internet I have a feeling that we'll never see how it looked like

Like John Candy with a stick.
You know what he did with a driver in Uncle Buck? Yes, we do!
Bill THUNDERED in and on the table. He was awesome.
He blew players off the table.
        His farts emptied rooms.

        Bill is still loved!

        =o)

PS. I have seen and if I can find will send a clip mate.

Big Bill wouldn't have been embarrassed - knowing him he would have just laughed it off..

I have searched high and low on the net for footage of Bill. The only things I can find are him hugging Thorburn after his 147 and when he jumped the white and potted a long red.

If anyone can find any thing else please post it in this thread.

I have had a good look on the net many times in the past for footage on Bill but there seems to be very very little.

Roger Lee has some footage of Bill mainly from the 1980s if your interested..

I got a 142 or something from him I think... will have a look when I get back home from the holiday. If there's interest I'll upload it somewhere.

Could that be the 142 he made against John Virgo in the 1979 WC?
