Hi everyone i recently found some old footage in my snooker collection of graham miles beating john spencer to win pot black black back in 1974 it was an article broadcast by BBC to comemerate the 20th aniversary of the programme which started in 1969,i also found brief coverage of steve davis's tv debut in the same competition when he beat his namesake fred.Does anyone have any old footage from a golden era?:snooker:

having it spread over weeks like it used to be would be better but i think Pot Black should stay in the 80s by bringing it back but with 80s players playing in it.

very impressive spike i used to record a lot of the matches in the 80's only just got back into snooker seriously again about 5/6 years ago.do you know anything about a collector called roger lee i replied to an add he had in snooker scene asking for old matches on video spoke to him briefly but decided to hang-on to my collection i uncovered the 1987 mercantile final on an old tape yesterday didnt know i had it!
