I have got tickets to the first session of qty final three is there any way I can find out who is likely to be playing in it.

I can find the listing for 1st and 2nd round, do they draw again for the finals or is it run as a knockout?

Sorry for the delay updating you all, we got to Wembley Arena at 11:30 but doors didn't open until 12:30 so walked round the corner to find a Cafe, finally found one and waited for the doors to open, whilst looking out of the Cafe Willie Thorne walked past, first famous person spotted

Right in front of the Arena entrance there was of course a Snooker Table for people to try, sixty seconds to pot as many of the 9 red balls (arranged in a triangle) as possible I was first to try and am mighty glad that there were very few people watching, 1 ball potted in a minute pretty poor but having a go on a top spec snooker table was priceless they are so quick and take any spin or side in my case unintentional, a real eye opener. may have to find a better table to play on, going back to our usual one is like playing on the lawn.

Got to the seating area at the side of the table, couldn't have asked for a better view fourth row back in the middle anticipation is high, bit of build up with the presenters then the players come out great atmosphere and everybody was up for it except unfortunately the players who were very poor especially Ryan Day (top break of 40 ish) Mr Maguire was equally as lack lustre until the last two frames when he pulled him self together and scored a 62.

All in all the day and occasion out shadowed the quality of snooker which was a bit annoying had we been witness to either Ronnies Semi or indeed the Final you would have found nothing but rave reviews, having said that it was a very enjoyable day and the plan is to repeat next year with slightly better selection of the match we watch.

Oh yes did I forget to mention we saw Tessa Sanderson top that.

I'm glad you enjoyed it mate and what a great place to get seated.

You will need to stop playing on a lawn then won't you Mr and then next year you can pot all the balls in 60 seconds !
