  • Is John Parris the only cue maker?

According to the BBC he is!!

Does any other cue maker get the free coverage like Parris gets.

I don't doubt that he is one of the best cue makers but it would be nice if the BBC compiled a list of the players cue makes [similar to the ones on this forum ]during one of the interval breaks , so that the public know there is more than one cue maker.

I've got nothing against Parris cues , my mates have some very good ones bought a few years ago.But what do you guys think?

    Happy New Year cue-ing.

Yea your spot on. I'm not sure what the relationship is between them, perhaps its because John is pally with the commentary crew?

Saying that it's typical of the BBC to cover everything with a huge bias.
Forget it, Donny, you're out of your element

Im guessing that the majority of the top 16 uses Parris cues? If so then they have just gone with the majority, which you can't blame them for tbh.

i think its a logistic problem...

parris is in london and the masters tournament is in london, a lot easier and less of a hassle for the camera crew and interviewer to reach there.

H&O could have been interviewed too, since its also in london, but i guess when the commentators have always been praising/commenting on parris cues, its makes sense to do a follow up interview with parris on tv

I have recorded all of the Masters coverage. Does anyone know roughly when the cue making piece was on so that I can watch it?

Does anyone have a video of the cue making part from yesterday session?

I wouldn't mind having a look at that, Thanks.

Was it the same VT they have shown and previous championships?
                  It is unfair.
Ronnie used to mention him a lot too but he seems to like that H&O.
They should get Dom Dale to interview Trevor for the Welsh open

i wonder why trevor white or mike woolridge are never spoken about ?

any why dont pros use them that often, they being right up there with john parris in terms of quality and craftsmanship, arguably even better?

A few pros do have Trevor Whites.
Parris market well though so young players want them and then stick with same cue. Plus Parris have been known to give players cues. You wouldn't catch Mike doing that

im not sure trev would love the limelight , he would let his cues do the talking.
