  • what tip

ive been playing snooker for a long time and 95% of the time used a elkmaster tip.
when i put a new tip on i dont sand or file the tip so its new and big after the initial half a dozen frames the time it takes to get the new sponge feeling out of the tip im fine no problems at all.
but im sick and tired of changing the tip after 3 months , im wondering are there any tips out there where you get the nice and firm {but not hard} feeling of the elkmaster but will last a lot longer.
any help or advice , please

Have you try blue diamond? you can try the medium hard tip.
I personally using an Omin tip. strikes the ball quite well.

    Maybe this help.

Sorry.. Didn't know that blue diamond is not so good already.
I only use it when I first get my cue.
It's not too bad when I'm using but after it drop off I use other cue tip.

Blue Diamonds have been poor for about 10 years. They used to be best before that. Elks are still best cheap all rounder.

Unless you want to try a laminated tip like Talisman but they are hard and expensive.

Buffalo diamonds are good but wear faster than elk from the one I had. Not used a Mike Wooldridge.
ADR147 sells all this stuff on his ebay shop
