I was looking through some old snooker scene mags that i have had from the late 80s and was just wondering if anyone knows what Dean Reynolds was doing nowadays ?

Dean Reynolds was in the crowd watching the Ding Jun Hui V Graeme Dott Match today (13 January) , Dean first appeared at the Masters as a player in 1983, he also appeard on 4 more ocasions in 1988, 1990, 1991 and 1992 Losing in the play-off round once, last 16 three times and quater finals once, his best acheivment at this event was a quarter final place.
1983 Rd 1 Lost Ray Reardon 5-1 (Ranked N0 22)
1988 Rd 1 Lost to Steve Davis 5-2 (Ranked N0 15) - Steve davis went on to win his 2nd Masters Championship this year by Beating Another Grimsby Professional snooker player in the final Mike Hallett by 9 frames to 0 the only ever final whitewash at the masters.
1990 Play-Offs Lost To James Wattana 5-4
1991 Rd 1 Lost to Tony Meo 5-2 (World ranked N0 8)
1992 Rd 1 Beat Mike Hallett 5-3 (In an All Grimbsy match)
1992 Quarter Finals Lost To Stephen Hendry 5-1 (World Ranked N0 12)
Dean was also involved in the only Snooker ranking event final whiewash when Steve Davis Beat him 10-0 in the Final of the 1989 Grand Prix
Also A Happy Birthday to Dean Reynolds who celebrated his 48th Birthday on January 11Ronnie O' Sullivan seven times the record breaking Snooker Master
