          I doubt it too.

He may well still win some of the other ranking events, but probably not another Worlds.

even though he has every desire to clear up every time he comes to the table........naaaaaaa i dont think he can......having said that would love to see him win the world title again, i grew up watching him and then he scared me for life when he cleared the colors to win the title when jimmy missed the black of the spot

The thing is that all out attack with little in way of safety hasn't worked for hendry at the Crucible since 1999.

He still plays the same approach now the way he did in the early to mid 1990's as though he's still clearly very much the man and potting everything in sight session after session, match after match, tourmament after tournament still expecting to thrash everybody in sight consistently when in reality his game for a long time now has been nowhere near in shape that that same approach now has constantly been putting him in serious trouble. Why Hendry can't realise himself that he's constantly getting himself into a tangle with his all out attack every time he enters the arena is really inexplicable.

A Hendry Bahrain Open or a China Open title is still possible with a short sharp burst, but I can't see him sustain same form over 17 days plus with more good players around now.

It's only an exhibition really so can't be used to judge solely if Hendry's suddenly now going to become the world champion again this year much older than anybody has been for a long time.

Well a 40 something hasn't won the world title since 1978. And the oldest world champion since was in 1985 and that is 5 years younger than Hendry currently is. A considerable age difference there. So really that would be the biggest bucktrender ever if Hendry was to do that at a considerably older age now more than 2 decades (a hell of a long time ago) after Dennis Taylor's feat way back then.

40 somethings won the world title when it was 10 man fields and the youngest competitor of the field was in his mid 30's with many in their 50's and 60's, even some in their 70's. A situation that's not the case now so Hendry being the oldest of the 32 man field so it's not seriously going to happen now when he's clearly in the reverse situation and more agewise in relation to competitors compared to Reardon was in the 1970's.

your right if he had curbed his attacking nature during the early part of his decline he would have won another World Title and many other Ranking tournaments. but he didn't now i fear its 2 late for world titles but having seen him play this year im confident he will win A Tournament in the next 3 years if this form continues that is.

He is a great player and as such he could still win one yes why not...It was not that long back people wrote John Higgins off after he won a few and went off the boil. Williams too....nothing breeds failure like success and I agree with wild and think he will win another event. Perhaps the world championship who knows...you got to be in it to win it and he is still in the mix:snooker:
