  • Referees Gloves

Hi - where's the best place to get proper referees gloves from?
I've been using a pair of cricket gloves (wicket keepers inners). They are not bad but not quite as tidy looking as the professional gloves look.

    Cheers

Cricket inners are leathal for using as referees gloves. They are far too slippy.
I get my gloves from the English Association for Snooker and Billiards. They are made by Dunn. You can find them in some of the better menswear stores as white dress gloves.
You will find that they are slippy too until they have had some use and a wash. The grime from the balls will stop them from being slippy.
I always go to my local club and clean a set of balls with a new set of gloves before I try to use them 'in anger'. Saves a lot of embarrasment dropping the Pink into a new pack of Reds.
            Some days I'm the statue.
            Some days I'm the pigeon.
Today is a statue kind of day.

Slaters menswear sell them, and I think if you contact the EASB, they can get them too.

I get mine from Southcombe brothers at £6.88 a pair. They have a button wrist.
