Very unusual ending to a frame

Player A is conceding 28 points handicap in a local league match and is 10 points in front on the green ball.
His opponent, Player B then miscues on the green (missing it altogether) and leaves the cue ball in jaws of the "yellow" pocket.
The referee then allows the cue ball to be placed in the D in accordance with the rules of the game, as Player A cannot see both side of the green.
Player A then is about to play his shot when the door bursts open and the German terrorist group Baader Meinhof guns down both players and the stricken referee is also shot in the buttock region. Player B survives this brutal attack, although he is never the same player again.
Please could someone who follows the rules of snooker tell me who claims the frame, would it be Player A (RIP) as he was 14 points in front at the time of this needless incident or Player B who is still alive?

First of all, an angled ball after a foul does not get the cueball in hand. That rule was changed quite a few years ago.

Secondly...who cares? The match in null and void because of the death of one of the opponents and player B who survived gets a 'walk-over' and if points are awarded he get 147 of them

However he can only take a length of time deemed to be fair according to the referee. I foresee another problem here as well. The police investigation may well involve the balls being cleaned by forensics (an outside agency) although I believe the balls may be replaced as near to their origional position as possible with no penalty. Also is it a team event? If so can another team member continue for him with the permission of the referee? In such circumstances I think it would be both reasonable and in the interest of the sport in general ito allow the match to conclude, even if not within the strict letter of the rules of the game. After all, we cannot let these people win .

Jusdt re read the origional post. As player B is never the same again, how quickly should his club reconsider his handicap? At our club he could have to wait up to a year, even longer if he misses the oportunity to play in a club competition, as it would stay the same until he wins looses or plays a few friendlys to prove his drop in form. (Player A would be fortunate enough to never again have his/her handicap cut again(lucky so and so)

I'm pretty sure he would only get 25, the value of remaining balls, added to the current score. 147 for each remaining frame, if this was not the last.

I think the frame score will stay and it will be written sth (match ended cos of death of other player)
