I honestly don't c why people say Stephen lee, he can't do a deep screw without jumping the white! Jimmy aims at bottom and drops the arm to hit middle or top. Ps, the doctors action ain't bad.... almost as good as mine although I must admit he helped me at times with it also

I can see why people think Stephen Lee's action is nice as he has a lovely rhythm but he does struggle to keep the cue on an even plane.
I think Ding's action is also a good example of what a player should be looking to copy. It is simple and consistent, very little to go wrong. This is what any good technique is about, consistent and simple but effective.
I have to say that although Frazz's action is very nice and he gets through the ball beautifully, it ain't a match for mine lol."Don't think, feel"

I think I've seen Stephen Lee miscue more than any other pro. Young Jimmy White's was effortless with loads of power, but the movement in there has obviously become a bit of a problem in recent years! Think Jimmy probably feathers the white more than most as well. Doubt Thorburn's ever done that in his life!
I'll pick Ronnie since his action is just so easy and natural. The way he casually drops his elbow and hits the ball so smoothly - I have to wonder if he's consciously worked at making that look pretty. Higgins probably looks the most solid and like he'll never miss, but he also looks a bit tense sometimes. I'm sure I've seen a quote from Ronnie somewhere where he says he wishes he had Higgins' technique so we can maybe count that as another vote for John.

in the traditional meaning i guess murphy is a shout. for my taste it would be robertson, higgins or o'sullivan they all have that ability generate massive power with little effort.
