      mchpddl1... my friend

I have a "mark" like that too.
Like you, I cannot wash it off either.
It is permanent, unless you undergo electrolysis treatment.
      Or... shave.

      [ if you're female, my condolences ]

I have seen some players put a plastic bandage on there chin after doing that
over time the mark you have will fade. I myself can't put my chin on the cue shaft because of my back.

Yes, put a small band-aid on your chin (or a plaster I guess to the British).

Graham Dott wears a band-aid when he plays

The other solution is to relax that tightness a bit as you shouldn't have the cue pulled up so tight to your chin

i can honestly say, no ive never had any marks on my chin, and why would i have a mark on my chin? keep your cue clean, that way its not sticky when your cueing, its all nice and smooth and bob is indeed your uncle, no marks on any of your body parts.

i do however find it frustrating my favourite pair of jeans has turned into my "snooker" jeans as all the time i keep putting chalk in my back pocket i now have a completely blue (or lighter blue/green) right back pocket.

so yeah, they are now my snooker jeans.
what a frustrating, yet addictive game this is....
