Thats true, I think he made about 8 or 9 in China, if he runs deep into the WC, he could be within 10-15 of Fu.

With the completion of the 2009/2010 season there have been some changes to the list.
Anthony Hamilton is still closest to reaching 200 sitting on 195 century breaks. Even though Marco Fu had a poor season he still did manage to make 17 centuries - more than Hendry, Williams, Maguire and Carter. All who had better seasons than him. Fu sits on 188 century breaks.
Reaching 3 finals, Ding made 29 centuries, 3rd overall on the one year list (behind O'Sullivan - 30 and Robertson - 42), altogether, Ding had distanced himself from Maguire and Murphy, who where all relatively even at the creation of this post, Ding sits on 172, while Murphy and Maguire have moved slightly sitting on 161 and 160 century breaks respectively.
Matthews Stevens is on 183.
Other active players who would be at long odds to beat the above listed to reach 200 century breaks include Selby (144) and Robertson (135).

I'm going to plump for Hamilton winning some matches and passing the 200 mark first, but his form of late has been dreadful, for such a talented and fantastic breakbuilder.
Iwas going to say he can QUICKLY reel off 2 or 3 in a row, but I don't think the word QUICKLY was appropriate.Last edited by jaybee136; 12 May 2010, 04:59 PM.

It seems to be noted as a 147 everywhere, and so does Mark Selby himself. It also was a tournament arranged by World Snooker, and so it is this year. I think the Statman once mentioned that it was about having official tables with right measures and professional judges.....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE

Fu has just reached 200 as the first of the mentioned players (what did I say ), and at the moment Hamilton is two centuries away, so heĀ“ll probably be the next. The new formats certainly changed things a lot as the players play so much more. Selby is at 24 centuries already this season !....its not called potting its called snooker. Quote: WildJONESEYE
