I wouldnt think he deliberately lost. Maybe he was in a mindset where he didnt care too much if he won or lost though. He often plays kamikaze snooker in the Chinese events, its well known they are not his favourite events and he seems to have trouble getting 'up for' them.

Ive just watched it you're definitely right, I have £200 on Ronnie at the start of every tournament religiously and for once I've stopped myself this week. What on earth was he doing rolling the black, when he had the chance to go 4-4? He clearly wanted to lose and get out of China immediately.

That looked well crooked to me.

Yes it was Deliberate.......He gave that Last Frame Away 100% he Did

He deliberately Missed that Black! He was Right behind it and could have just Pushed it in with his Foot if he wanted too it was that easy!

He Played the Black so slow Towards the Right Hand Jaw he knew it wasn't going in.

I have Played High Standard Snooker Myself and Practised with alot of the Top Players so I do Know alittle!!....And you dont Play that type of Shot when you can just Punch it in or Roll it in....But Not Drag White and Play Right Jaw!

I am very Dissapointed with him as I love Watching Ronnie so does 90% of Other People.

As I have already said this week and Many Times Before, He is the Most Talented Player Ever....But will never be the Best Player Ever!

He just has a Screw Lose?.....Why Travel all the way to China and do that.

From the Very 1st Frame he wasn't Right playing very stupid silly shots especially when he potted 6 Reds/Blacks and went for a stupid Red along top Cushion Missed and then he Deserved to lose that Frame.

If there Should be Inquiries into Results then This Should Definately be One! People travel Thousands of Miles to Watch Him and also Put Millions of Pounds on him to Win!

Right thats my Moan for 10mins......And No I didn't have a Pennie on him This Week Good Job!

That's what I'm wondering mate I don't think they're released usually.

Regarding the match, I'm not surprised to see Ronnie dogging it in China, but if he did lose deliberately, he might have done it on a more difficult shot, so it seems more believeable. Of course we may not judge him, he seemed quite annoyed, and might very well have genuinely missed it, because of overlooking it or something.

I think he tried to copy the Rolex commercial on Eurosport (when the golf ball stops for 1 sec before potting into the hole), but he failed. I don't have better idea...

Well gazza147 you won't find anyone arguing about the quality of the shot, it was one of the worst of the whole season I believe. But deliberate? I'm pretty sure not.

I wonder how much affect that will have on his performance in the worlds in a few weeks. Being so unprofessional can hardly be the best preparation.
