Hi all,
as some of you know, im new to the game, and have only been playing since november, but as ive been pracitising alot, and have joined a local club, ive been trying to work on my positioning at present.
I can back spin and use top spin fine, (on good club tables), but for some reason, side spin confuses and mystifies me. Everytime i try and play it, i always miss the shot ...
Some of my friends say that i should try applying side spin by twisting the cue, but i thought this was a big no no, because you should always play with a straight cue action...
So i was wondering, how do you play side? do you need to readjust the angle of the pot? and what are the most effective and beneifical ways to practice in this area of the game, to make my side spin attributes sufficient?
Thanks guys!
