I didn't say I admire his play or something like that

But he either plays vintage snooker to destroy his opponents, which I don't like very much as I'm not a fan of him, or struggles with his form, something that is not very much appealing for me as well

But if we're talking about snooker, bring on anybody!!
    All the way Mark J!!

I understand nothing from snooker. - Dedicated to jrc750!

On: Drago, Ronnie, Williams (hope he will finally become favorite for tv tables, he was quite disadvantaged in early rounds this season ), Pengfei, Wenbo, Robertson, Selby, Hamilton, Swail, Ebdon (although I couldn't take him in last year's China at times)...

Off: to some degree: Carter, Murphy (unless his cue action is working fine), Higgins (early rounds, not much of fight, and he's too clinical), Day, Rory, M Davis, Ronnie's last frame in China...

Same here. Painful to be guessing how many balls he'll pot this time before breaking down. And how crazy will be another ball for attacking that he'll miss some 3 times out of 4...

As in: I like some players more than others... Maybe "I don't like" is too strong an expression. I have great respect for the talent of every professional player, I even envy it a little. It's not all about attacking snooker and big breaks for me, I often enjoy to watch scrappy tactical frames.

I meant only pro players. There aren't hundreds or thousands of snooker pro players on TV. About 8 or so of them constantly appear (because they are the best really). I like to see someone else for a change even though I have my favourites of course.

Football? Players in our country are treated like divine beings for some reason, receive large amounts of tax payers money, plus they occupy most of the sport pages at the expense of other sports. I'll never understand it. Because of football "fans" you have to be very careful where you park your car these days or even where you walk at night.

I hope snooker fans never become that passionate. Can you imagine a fist fight between say O'Sullivan and Hendry fans?
