  • No-one to play with

I love playing snooker but no-one i know plays, except one person that goes like every few months lol. I go with my dad sometimes, but he doesnt play a safety game or anything, he just wacks them if he cant pot oneSo, what should i do? Just practise on my own for a while and then see about joining junior clubs etc?

Same situation here, I live in israel and snooker isn't a very common sport here,
so most of my friends will only play 8ball with me. only one of my friends likes snooker
    but we barely play.

Hi mucka , i know it can get boring playing on your own but if you want to improve different aspects of your game then dont just play and pot balls , work on all weaknesses of your game and try and improve them .

There are some great practice routines on the fergal obrien website , to improve your game .

Make good use of the table time there so many different things to work on that should keep you focused and interested .

I'm in the same position as well. I live in a small town and there's a social club with a couple tables that i'm a member of. I play pool eveyr now and again with friends and have one friend that i used to play with who won't play with me any more because he can't win.
I too have resorted to going by myself hoping to meet someone i could have a regular with but gave up on the idea a few months ago.
I went down today and was the only person there and played a couple of frames and surprised myself by how much i remembered.
