    It would still have been dramatic if Davis were to have potted that thin black which he ended up missing. I don't think it would have been AS famous as it is now though, but dramatic nonetheless.

      Cyril is quite right - the 1985 final is the only Crucible final not to have contained a century.

      More unusual, in recent years at least, is that Graeme Dott's century at the end of the Monday afternoon session, was the first in the tournament since the Friday evening.

      I can't remember the last time there were two days' play in Sheffield without a single century.
