Unless I'm horribly mistaken, there hasn't been a century made in the 28 frames so far. Has there ever been a Crucible final do we know where there have been no centuries made?

Have there been any finals with no centuries?

It is unusual to just have one century in this final so far. I thought it would be a big moral boost for Dott.
I can hear the pundits now saying what a disapointing final because of the gritty frames and low breaks but thats what I love to see especially in the final. It might lead to a very late finish but it will be a memorable one.

I'm not too sure, but what I have noticed from WC finals is that the standard seems to drop (which still makes it exciting), but the breaks are not as high. I think one of the Hendry/White finals would be up there in regards to most century breaks as would 2002 - Hendry/Ebdon. These are just guesses, the former because of scores of 18-17 and 18-14 and 2002 because that is the year Hendry made 16 century breaks in his campaign.

Too be Honest some people call it the Best as it was Late Night Drama and Taylor Beating Davis was a Big Upset.
But I think that was a terrible Final and No 100+ breaks proves that as if there isn't Many 100+ Breaks that means either opponet could Win that Frame!
1985 & 2010....Worst Years for 100+ Breaks....Which also Shows Terrible Snooker!

Would the 1985 final be so memorable if Davis had won???
Because Taylor came from way behind to beat the guy who was dominating the game to such an extreme level it was memorable! If Davis had won surely it would have just been a slight blip that was overcome in Davis's domination....Highest Break
