There called Alt codes. Go to Google and type 'Alt codes' I personally use Color Your Profile and André Moreau It has a symbol I.E ¥ and a four digit number text to it I.E 0165.........Anyway, You hold down Alt(next to the space bar[left]) and tap in 0165 on the number pad(right of your keyboard NOT above the letters!)
ALSO: If you hold down Alt Gr(Next to space bar[right]) and press e for example it enters this é. Only works with certain letters though.
Ranen, see windows character map (start->run->charmap) for a world of characters not on your keyboard
I reckon you'd get the full 147k for a 155, maybe the WSA might even stump up a bit more for something truly record breaking. A 155 is a 147 with a bit extra after all, so there's no reason it shouldn't get the full prize that I can think of.
Anything less than a 155 though with 16 reds should just get the high break prize (not the maximum prize) in my opinion, and as I recall, that's what happens. It'd be a lot easier to get that kind of break without the necessity to get on the black after each red.
Mr Wizard, would you mind finding a slightly smaller / less flashy signature image? To be frank, it's already starting to do my head in .
Signatures can no longer contain links, or text decorations. Images are still available, but must not reflect any type of advertising for goods, services or websites, be tasteful and be of reasonable size (no larger than 460X60) . TSF staff may remove images with no notice.
I will update your sig if you cannot get to it today...
Jamie Burnett of Scotland made a 148 in the qualifiers the other year and got... sweet FA for his efforts, which I thought was an absolute joke. The highest break EVER made in professional snooker! And he gots nowt...
If it was Stephen Hendry at the Worlds I'm sure he'd have got something for it!
As far as I'm concerned if a player was to make a 148 at the World's he ought to get the maximum prize, as it has never been done before, and is more than 147, so why shouldn't they get it!?!?!
