So for me i much prefer the hit of a laminated tit and have just ordered some of M W laminated tips .
Are you still drinking Hotpot or is this a new breed of bird only found in the welsh hillsides !

Let me know how you get on with the MW Laminated tip . I did not like the Talismans that i tried and much prefer the MW supertip . But may well try one on his laminated ones . Did you get them off his e bay shop ?
Still trying to pot as many balls as i can !

        Thank you.
I know what you mean , they made a sound as if the tip was about to come off . Sounded a bit tinny , if that makes any sense .

              Hotpot,

which Talisman tip you use? Do you use talisman soft or something harder?
You cannot improve your game if you don't have a cue and snooker table
              BTW vucko means wolfie

I use the talisman medium and the new talisman on the other cue which is a very good tip muck .

Thanks. I am looking to try out talisman tips but I am still not sure which one to choose. I like really hard tips.

For me,pro granite tips are really good. You can perform full range of shots, they grip the cue ball really well. I am avoiding using of sidespin most of the time so I can't say that I had any problems playing with side. Maybe it produces more deflection in compare to MW super tip but it's not a huge difference...

I think the new Talismans are on sale now , i find them nice and firm but more responsive than the other Talisman . Ive also ordered M W laminated after hearing good things about them .

Thanks. Do you know where can I buy new talisman? I have tried MW laminated and I honestly think that MW super tips are better. But they are also good tips to play with...

                        vucko:

I get mine from poolqjunkie on here at a fairly reasonable price of about 4pounds per tip if you buy 8 of them. He will just mail them to you.

I can"t speak for poolqjunkie and I bought these from him about 4 months ago. I've installed 5 of the 8 I bought (this was the second tip order) on both my own cue and also on some customer's cues and haven't had a problem with any of this second order.

The first order I got about a year ago I had one de-laminate and pqj sent me a replacement right away. He stands behind everything he sells and I'm really happy with the 3 cues I've bought from him.

Now my problem is do I use the 1-piece or the very fine 3/4-butt I just purchased. Time will tell I guess.

The new 3/4 cues has a Kumai Soft on it and I like that too. It's a little harder than an ELk Master Hard.
