Hi,
Just wondered if u remembered a shot, played by Peter Francisco, which went on to win a shot of the championship. It was a deep screw shot, played after potting a ball in the baulk left hand pocket. I have also contacted peter on fb but he doesn't recall this shot. Regards.

Was it from his first round match against Jimmy White at the 1995 Championship??

Think this may have been posted by a TSF board member on YouTube a few weeks ago, though I can't find mention of it now (perhaps it has been deleted for breaking house rules). IIRC, it was the 1986 BCE International, though I don't think Francisco's shot was the winner (a shot by Cliff Wilson won it).

I don't think this is the shot I am thinking of because 86 is too early as I think it happened in 88 or 89. Was it the deep screw back shot after potting a ball in the left baulk pocket?

The only shots i remember Peter for are the ones he played against Jimmy in 95, particularly, the power shot half ball black along the top cushion and the cue ball ploughing through the reds.

Wow some great shots Peter Francisco had some great cue power the the Tony Knowles combo plant was amazing - had to check it was not a fluke - but for me that shot G by Cliff Wilson was something else - very special that one.
