faster cloth-HELP

we have recently had our table recovered and even when ironed is still a bit slow is there anything u can do to speed it up?any tricks of the trade??????

Tightening the cloth could be one
Grip the cloth tightly with your palm and try to push it. If the cloth moves a lot then the cloth is lose

Is the snooker room humid? If yes you might consider having heaters incase you dont have

btw what is the cloth make and number? and how many oz?

the cloth does not need streched,but the room heating is poor not sure of the make or weight

There is your problem. For a good quality game you need a consistant temperature, ideally quite warm because if the temp is up and down it can cause moisture in the room which gets into the cloth causing it to play different, mostly slow. The slate also play a large part, if they are cold then it will take a while to get them warm which will help the speed on the bed of the table.
