many pro players start the game when they where not tall enough to level to the table. What did they do then?

I'm sure I remember watching Ronnie play a shot where he untied his lace and had that dangling so it was on the floor, player the shot with both feet off the ground (but his lace, attached to his shoe, on his foot was touching the floor) and the referee didn't call a foul. Can anyone -
a) remember seeing this
b) Confirm if the referee called a foul or not, and
c) Answer IF the referee should have called a foul.

Well its a foul if "striking when both feet are off the floor" so pretty sure a shoelace doesn't count as a foot

I would call a 'foul' just as I would call a 'foul' if a thread was hanging from a player's sleeve and it touched a ball.
