  • snooker table outside?

might be a silly question but is there a way to have a table outside and keep it maintained well so it is playable on all the time without the table coming slow or without making a room for it?

              Hi,

              snooker table outside? Why not?
That's no problem in Germany, because we have sunshine and 24°C 365 days of the year.

To be honest its not a good idea the frame would be expending and shrinking with the different wheather and the cloth would pick up moisture and start to rot.

So what we need is a rust proof alloy frame, and simonis cloth! You can play on that stuff even when wet.. as we found when our landlord decided to wetwash our pool table before a match one night.. it does smell a bit when wet tho.

Do not listen to what jantweiler told you. I think he is pulling your leg. The weather in Germany is much the same as here in England. I have spent quite some time over there in years gone by, and three years ago this Christmas, was in the Black Forest area and it was -6 c for the whole two weeks there. Although they did say is not often as cold as that.

Nah I wont but I think it werent very realistic to put a snooker table outside just thought if there was a way to maintain the table then it could be possible. Would be nice to have your own table though :-)
