There is a Pooltable that has an Aluminium frame with a wood slate and a 1mm thich layer of pvc plastic as a cloth.
I think it was called Buffalo Storm
might be a silly question but is there a way to have a table outside and keep it maintained well so it is playable on all the time without the table coming slow or without making a room for it?
Right first time, silly question.
A friend of mine had his own table in his garden on a concrete base with a wooden shed around it. Before playing he would put the calor gas fire on for an hour and it played quite well, if you like a slow table that is, for the dampness never really went away even in the summer.

As my dad was a builder he done exactly this for me when I was a kid it was a fantastic room with an expensive table had 4 heaters around the room on the wall but unless you have the heaters on all the time so the table keeps warm and dry it will never play the same as 1 inside a house or club.
no,it would'nt be good idea to keep any kind of snooker/pool table outside, the climate we have in britain is not the best, the cold would expand the wood and make the cloth damp it would also run very very slow, you need a good tempeatureto keep the table runing true and fast..
