  • Where can I try cues in Hants?

    Hello all,

Just picking the game up again after 10 years out. Looking to buy a new cue as my old Peridon and Fletcher must have been lost.

I used to get cues from a sports shop in Guildford, which has closed down now.... so any ideas where I can go and try out a few cues??

I've tried looking about on the net but all I can see is a good shop up in Leeds!!

Ideally looking to spend £100.... maybe another Peridon... maybe a 3/4.

    Cheers
    Steve

Very first cue i bought was by Keith Auld . Good to see him back in health and making cues again . Prices look very reasonable for handmade cues .

I only speak as i find and i was lucky enough to have one made by him about 20 years ago . Very nice solid cue . Always recall the joint being very low down on the butt .Sometimes wish i kept it . Would have saved me a bloody fortune !

yea thats where i heard about him originally.

although im nowhere near the level i'd consider high enough to warrant spending that much on a cue.

You might consider a quick trip east along the A27 to Worthing where you can find a superb private room with full size championship table with a fine selection of cues to try, coupled with advice if needed. It is the only way to buy a cue in all truth. Many class players in your area have recieved coaching and advice over the years. Check out wwwfranksandellcuesport.co.uk and E.mail me. I'll reply with all contact details. All the best.:snooker:

                            I've sent an e-mail through.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions (although not many in this part of the world.)
