I have'nt got a clue but I'm sure it can only help. I've heard this surgery is expensive,,,would you not be best waiting until they have a "Buy one, get one free" offer on?

Seriously though, hope all goes well.

I know a few people who have had it done and they all say its the best thing that they have had done, they say that you have to stay away from bright lights for a short time ! Good luck with the surgery, sure it will be fine, let us all know how it went.

Efren Reyes did it some year ago, and said it really helped him. Now he's playing his best pool for quite some years!

Be interested to see how this goes mate as it's something I am seriously considering myself.

Out of interest are you long or short sighted. I have heard the proceedure is more suited to short sightedness although it seems to be getting better for long all the time.

                        G'Day guys

I was a -6 dioptre (really short sighted) and had the operation 4 years ago when i was 35.
                        Fantastic results.
I wore glasses, then went to contacts for a few years then had the operation.
The jump from glasses to contacts was amazing but playing later at night my eyes used to get dry and gritty. Quite uncomfortable.
                        The operation was a revelation.
Basically have 20-20 vision now. Wished i'd done it earlier because it impacts on your day to day lifestyle too. Being in Oz and into surfing and windsurfing also means i have that much more enjoyment of this too as i can finally see where i'm going.
                        Do it.

                        Cheers
                        Wayne

will not give any more feedback till all has settled down, but i am sure your experience will make more bad sighted snooker players go ahead with laser eye surgery
