  • Question for Trevor White?

Or anyone else that may be able to answer this for me please...

Whilst in my club yesterday a guy approached me asking if I knew if the cue he was trying out was a genuine Trev. Looking at it everything looked as it should...nice grain, even splices, general top quality workmanship etc etc...but...the badge just didn't look quite right. To me it seemed a little on the small side. Does anyone know (obviously you will Trevor if you read this) just what diameter badge Trevor uses. I took the guys mail address and said I would ask on this forum for him, as the price he has been asked for the cue seems pretty good IF indeed it is the genuine article.

Any help would be much appreciated guys and gals!!

    Cheers

    Glenn

Plenty of guys on here to help you . My cue is at home , so can't measure for you .

Best thing though is to post up some pics .Also , what cost is the cue .
Not sure if anyone has ever seen a TW fake .

ADR147 may be able to advise if there are any fake cues .

Trevs badges are slightly smaller than a five pence piece .

Not the easiest thing to measure when its on a cue but i made it 16 mm.

Thanks fellas! I will let him know what the correct measurement is. It might well have been genuine but never having seen one "in the flesh" so to speak, I only had my idea of the pics I've seen on the forum to try and judge it...just looked a little small to me. Unfortunately I dont have any photos as it wasn't my cue but he did say the person he was considering buying it off wanted £250....a steal if it is indeed a genuine Trev.

Always be Careful when Buying Cues if you dont have much knowledge or haven't dealt with the cue makers alot, As there are always Plenty of Fake Cues on the Market.

Just this minute measured mine and they are 16mm. I think they are smaller than most others. But never had another with round badge. Only other have had were Burwat Champ and Ye Olde Ash.
