Makes no difference, really! But it's good to have some company when you lose, I suppose!

I can't stand it when guys bring the girl friend they don't stop talking and always seem to get in the way. Maybe some guys used them for this purpose

About 5 years ago I reached a local snooker singles final and my missus insisted on coming along to watch. Anyway, there she was sitting on the front row with her glass of red wine and everytime I missed a shot she looked at me and shook her head in pity.......and between frames she said 'why the hell can't you cue smoothly like your opponent instead of jabbing at the ball'!!

                  Anyway.......I lost!!

The following year I again reached the final and this time she watched the first frame and then went (in disgust!!) to the clubs bar to watch the football on tv!!

Needless to say, I lost again and she never came to watch me again!!

I get her to wear the shortest possible skirt and lowest cut top and sit with her legs akimbo in direct eye line of my opponent when he's at the table it's like "Basic Instinct with musical chairs ! "......

I need all the help I can get but still manage to get beat but it' always nice to take her home afterwards.

i prefer not to talk about snooker at all to my girlfriend, always ends in arguments!! apparently its the most boring thing in hte world and when i jibber jabber on about it it makes her want to go to sleep!

                          haha

so i tend to just talk to you guys about it on here instead!! [charlie sheen]winning![/charlie sheen]

I'm lucky in this regard as my girlfriend really enjoys watching snooker, so much so that I can come in and she's already tuned in watching it! She very very rarely ever watches me live though. She's missed three county finals, two exhibitions and didn't even watch me play for England. In 14 years she's seen me play two or three times, and that's fine by me!
I often use large words I don't really understand in an attempt to appear more photosynthesis.
