Could take a while to put together, but easy to carry around!

I seen couple of 4 piece cues and they are terrible.
A good cue does make a difference(say around 20%) to your game but what you do with it that matters.

My own experiences, somehow 2 piece cues have never felt right 3/4 cue and 1 piece cues have always been the go for me and while im there ive always played better with maple, i dont really know why after 20 years and winning a couple oft'ments along the way i'm still not sure what the differences are, to me it has to do a bit with what u start out with, put simply world titles have been one with all of these types

Each and every piece of wood is different in playability so if you find a good one that suits your game, never change it.

I think it definitely helps that he's playing with a John Parris Ultimate cue, be it 1pc or 3/4.

Combine his raw talent, experience he's gained on the tour and the best cue money can buy (i.e. made from the finest materials by master craftsmen and JP himself) and you've got a fantastic artillery to do battle with. The response he's getting from his Ultimate cue is frightening.

Possibly it is on the heavy side too, wouldn't be surprised if its at least 19 oz, he does seem to get extra zip on the ball that I doubt he'd do with any cue. He used a cue craft before because that's what they sold in the club he used to play in when he was a youngster in Bristol.
His cue is just 17.5 oz, John Parris ultimate.

Possibly not but then again that does seem an overwhelming majority in favour of 1 piece cues. Not to mention that all of the absolute legends of the game, Davis, Hendry, J.Higgins, Ronnie, Reardon all used 1 piece cues during their peak years and now todays top players mostly use 1 piece cues. Just a couple of players in the top 10 who use a 3/4, Robertson, Williams (though its a 1 piece with a joint fitted) it does then lead to the thinking that they must be better cues to play with.
