  • Table clothes

    Dear all,

Can anyone provide me an overview of table clothes, reading from others posts there are, No.10 clthes, Hainsworth Smart, Strachan, etc etc, can someone kindly explain what world championship table uses (number, brand), and what might a club match table uses, and what a standard table uses?

    Thanks a billion,

    Regards,
    Troublesome Barry

    Strachan by Milliken WSP: http://www.milliken-wsp.co.uk/en-gb/...uct_range.aspx
No. 10 Championship is being used by the WSA for professional tournaments

there's an additional flavor not mentioned there: "6811 Tournament select" which is used by the IBSF (http://www.ibsf.info/cgi-bin/ibsf.pl?A=Blog&ID=7)

    Hainsworth: http://hainsworth.co.uk/interior-fab...and-pool-cloth
Hainsworth Match has been used at the World Series of Snooker and Power Snooker last year.

I guess the most common choice for clubs or standard tables would be 6811 Tournament or Hainsworth Smart

From what I believe Strachan 6811 Tournament is known to require a restretch after sometime on the table, where the Hainsworth does not and that the Hainsworth plays as well (if not better) than the Strachan. I maybe wrong but that is what I have heard.
      Up the TSF! :snooker:
