Hi, I was just on youtube and watching luca Brecel's first pro century and it was an 128 break. I was just wondering if anyone had, had a higher first professional century break? :snooker:

I think Michael Valentine had a 140tc as his first pro century at the Norbreck Castle in 1992. And im sure there would have been others higher than 128 during the 1991 qualifiers - havnt got my stats at hand to confirm...............and I think Neil Mosley had a 140tc as his first pro century in 1993.
Also, after giving this question more thought - I can remember that John Higgins, Matthew Stevens and Robin Hull all made breaks of 145 very early in their pro careers, and im sure that Paul Hunter's first pro century was a 139.
And I dont know if it was his first century - but Peter Ebdon made a 147 shortly after turning pro in 1991.
It would be nice to get a definite answer to your question.
